Set your alarm for blood moon tonight
Super moon, wolf moon, blood moon tonight. 4:40am for about 2 hours.
Alarm set, big camera out, praying no clouds.

It's 5.55pm here, and the moon has just started to appear over the hill at the back of our house. Although it's not yet risen over the tops of the very tall trees, it looks huge... and kinda spooky shining through the branches.
We won't be going out to get pics. -27 tonight with a wind chill of -42. Armchair viewing me thinks

This is the best I could do, taken from the kitchen window looking up through the gnarly old oak trees. It doesn't look super, or bloody, or wolfy!
I saw the partial eclipse at around 11.30, but it was snowing, cloudy, and windy, so no chance of getting a pic. I "mist" the full eclipse too, Admiral

The Moon shouldn't really be there its hollow and rang like a bell when NASA did a bit of geophysics on it twice, its just too much that we never see the back of it and its distance allows it to be perfectly obscured at certain times, its even out in the day now if you hadn't noticed, all the craters only go to a certain depth, astronauts that have been there and have reported some odd blatant things or gone into recluse, scientists have agreed its made of a dust that you would use if you were going to make a moon.
I reckon you may catch a photo of one of the alien life forms that found it and are using it to watch us changing the light bulbs in it as its going a bit red they only last so long.
No but seriously the race that made us and it left before this version of civilisation and evolution came about in a time before time. long gone never to return, its just us and the other aliens now.
Hope you are all well.

The longest lunar overshadowing will fall under the World's shadow for four hours Saturday morning however you should set an BORN BRADLEY COOPER
